Dark Horse formed in 2007 as a recording outlet for former Mouse that Roared singer/songwriter and Minmae drummer Stephen Kozik. With piano driven pop songs and exploratory progressive compositions Dark Horse borrows heavily from the b-sides of 60's psych pop, 70's pop and progressive rock with the reflective lyrics of confessional writers like Nick Drake and Lou Barlow.
